Compare exported FactoryTalk View ME/SE project components directly in your browser.

Overview

FactoryTalkViewProjectComparator is a standalone browser-based tool for identifying differences between exported components from two FactoryTalk View projects.

Each component has an independent comparison section with its own Project A / Project B inputs, Compare Projects button, processing indicator, results, and collapsible interface.

  • Animated Comparing... progress indicator while a section is being processed
  • Comparison is enabled only when valid data is loaded in both Project A and Project B
  • Clear button removes the currently loaded data from a project side
  • Optional Hide Identical filtering
  • CSV export of detected differences
  • Independent collapsible comparison sections
  • Multilingual interface: Spanish, English, Italian, and Portuguese (Brazil)
  • Local browser processing
  • Single HTML file with no external application dependencies

Usage

  1. Download FactoryTalkViewProjectComparator_V2.11.html.
  2. Open it in a modern web browser.
  3. Expand the comparison section you need.
  4. Load valid data from Project A and Project B.
  5. Click that section's Compare Projects button.
  6. Wait for the Comparing... indicator to finish.
  7. Review the detected differences.
  8. Export differences to CSV when required.

The application is read-only and works directly with the project exports selected in the browser.

Neomorphism UI

The application uses a light Neomorphism / Soft UI interface designed for technical and engineering workflows.
