Hello !
yes it is a good library for having a readline feature for small embedded system. I used it for my system.
If you want (even if it is a little bit late) i have merged a lot of interesting pull request
it is available in my fork.

I suggest you to check my version of the library. In part, it contains useful pull requests for this library, but they were reorganized according to my vision of key functions. See CHANGELOG.md to compare my version with v1.5.1
