SSL Error - SSL: CERTIFICATE_VERIFY_FAILED #26

Description

@bernardoVale

Hey, my jenkins server uses a self-signed certificate :/

I got this error while connecting:

Jenkins server response: Error in request: [SSL: CERTIFICATE_VERIFY_FAILED] certificate verify failed (_ssl.c:590):

We could add a new setting to .jenkins-cli called ignore_ssl, if the setting is true the client should ignore SSL errors.

We could implement this using the snippet above:

try:
    _create_unverified_https_context = ssl._create_unverified_context
except AttributeError:
    # Legacy Python that doesn't verify HTTPS certificates by default
    pass
else:
    # Handle target environment that doesn't support HTTPS verification
    ssl._create_default_https_context = _create_unverified_https_context
