Not working on Windows10 powershell Opencode.

I installed with powershell:

Everything looks find but when I run Opencode and build staff, I heard nothing. Help.

1. Check if OpenCode is actually firing hooks

2. Test audio manually & 3. Try switching to the built-in pack

peon --test

peon-ping: switched to 'peon'
peon --test

peon --test give no sound before and after. The only audio I heard before is after peon-ping installation.

4. Verify hooks in OpenCode config

This directory doesn't exist.
C:\Users\Asus\AppData\Local\opencode\config

What I got is: C:\Users\Asus\AppData\Local\opencode\peon-ping\config.json which mention in 1.

peon --test

Return no sound.

install.ps1 plays sound at step :

No sound from Claude Code (VSCode), and no sound with peon --test (even with peon pack)

Hey guys! I got myself a temporary fix by creating a similar plugin with less feature. https://github.com/XtraS001/power-peon-ping. This plugin works on my Windows10 powershell Opencode well. Hope it helps.

Just a small request: could you add version number in peon.ps1 (or elsewhere) when releasing a new version?
With install, I can't find the VERSION file on my disk.

Oh, and also : CLI commands are way more detailed on GitHub, but not on commande line (peon --help)

You might try installing ffmpeg via winget if you're having issues playing sounds. This fixed issues I was having with sounds playing inconsistently or not at all after switching packs.

@garysheng commit 4d112fa made it so the opencode plugin needs peon.sh, which doesn't exist in a native windows install, which instead uses peon.ps1

The Windows install.ps1 doesn't create a peon.sh, just a peon.ps1. Considering that the installer doesn't create a peon.sh, it's safe to assume that peon-ping.ts will never be able to find a peon.sh.

@ilberd, you're right, that's the bug. The peon-ping.ts OpenCode plugin invokes peon.sh unconditionally, but native Windows installs only have peon.ps1. Two paths to fix:

1. Plugin-side: detect platform in peon-ping.ts and shell out to peon.ps1 on Windows. Cleanest.
2. Adapter-side: ship a peon.sh shim on Windows that pipes to PowerShell. Compatible but adds an extra hop.

Going with (1). Tracking this as a real bug to land in the next release. Will follow up here when the fix ships. Thanks for the precise root cause, the linked commit pinpointed it immediately.
