Problem
The script that creates the year round time sampling doesn't include January 1st in the time sample.
Why does this problem happen?
The script doesn't include January 1st because part of January 1st UTC is December 31st in Pacific Time which would require fetching data from the previous year. This has not been implemented in the script that creates the time samples.
Why does this matter?
When creating graphs over a year (e.g. graphs of the state of charge over the year) we often using moving 2-week averages. These moving averages require two weeks of data so they can't be calculated for the first and last week of data in the year. A solution to this is to "wrap-around" the year so data from the last week and the first week is used when calculating the 2-week average for e.g. January 2nd. However, this wrap around requires the year to be complete (i.e. include January 1st). When the year is not complete we can't wrap-around and are forced to cut off the first and last week of the year ://.
Solution
Not too sure, someone would need to look into this. Also note that wrapping around dates would not be easy at all...
