Implement Chatmix for Arctis Nova Pro Wireless

Hi Everybody,

today I stumpled upon this repo https://git.dymstro.nl/Dymstro/nova-chatmix-linux which has a working chatmix control for the Steelseries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless Headset.

Since this is still missing here, maybe Ricardo
Dymstro (the guy from the nova-chatmix-linux repo) would help out here. Not sure about licensing but maybe the project is already licenced in a way that it could be used in this project as well.

Hope this might get the ball rolling to enable that feature. <3

If i had the knowledge and ability i'd do it but i do not. It would be really good to have this last bit working for the nova pro wireless headset.

Looks for me nothing dangerous but it is a very big scope creep. Implemeting a full voice changer into that manager/repo.

It's part of the beta where the dev is experimenting with other features. Elegos is adding things like an equalizer and background noise suppression to make Artis Manager a little more like Steelseries GG

You don't have to use the voice changer,chatmix and the other device specific settings work fine without it. I have been nudging him to implement these things as a plugin system because you're right, not everyone wants all this by default.

That said, maybe do some actual due diligence before fear mongering because you saw "ai." RNNoise, which is also being implemented is technically "ai" too and it's widely used

I've read the readme and it didn't say anything about those.
It's not about AI, it's about things which were never advertised as features.

I wrote the readme, it's based on the stable release. Once the beta goes stable I'll update the documentation. None of this is final yet

Hello @Nama , that's the development branch, while released the docs will be updated accordingly 🙂. For now it's in beta only, advertised within our discussion group, and not a final "product". I wouldn't make a discussion in here, as this is not the right repo 🙂

Btw instead of pointing to a file without reading it, read it through: you'll see there is no download without usage 🙂
