Local CD/DVD access FreeRDP and Hyper-V

We are using a tftp network boot ThinStation and FreeRDP to access a Windows VDI and Hyper-V VMs.
This is different than a true Terminal Server.
The Wiki FAQ does not cover Hyper-V VMs.

I can get ThinStation to see the local CD/DVD ( easy, because it is on the same physical machine ).
I have isofs and automount configured in the build.conf file.
I have "+drives" configured for the FreeRDP session.

I cannot get the Hyper-V VM to see it.
I think this may be a bridge too far, but if there is anything you think I could try, I'm all ears.

You likely need to pass a path where the drive is mounted after +drives. You should be to look through the FreeRDP documentation to find out how to pass a folder

Since you referenced the FreeRDP documentation, does that mean that the path should be specified in the FreeRDP connection string, or in the ThinStation config file?

Currently, I have this specified in the Thinstation config.

SESSION_1_FREERDP_OPTIONS="--drive cdrom,/media/cdrom"

Ultimately, it has to go on the FreeRDP connection string, but you can put parts of the string into TS config files.

In the ThinStation config, I also have -
BASE_MOUNT_PATH=/media

Is that necessary?

In the ThinStation config, should I change -
SESSION_1_FREERDP_OPTIONS="--drive cdrom,/media/cdrom"
to read
SESSION_1_FREERDP_OPTIONS="--drive cdrom,/mnt/cdrom"

Should it be SESSION_1 or SESSION_0
The autostart FreeRDP I have is listed as 1, since I have 2 different FreeRDP server options, and the one I want CD/DVD access to is 1.

If you change the BASE_MOUNT_DIR, you will need to change the FreeRDP options. Experiment.

Dozens of builds of ThinStation.
I'm just glad it's a PXE, not actual burning of boot discs.
