Problem in last step downloading music from Spotify: connecting with Spotify in browser.

I have downloaded both: "RhythmiRust-modern-2020-windows" and "RhythmiRust-avx2-2014-windows".
These both worked and I was able to do all the steps to download mp3 files from Spotify.
I clicked on Starter > Start and it opened my browser. I tried logging into Spotify but then it all went wrong. It simply says that something went wrong. I think this means Spotify has detected this application?

Can someone help me please?

Also I'm new to Github so if this is not the correct format, please correct me.

No it just means spotify failed to authenticate

Give it a try on the 2011 version if possible, and it could also be a failed login try open and close the browser first and make sure you are logged into Spotify on the browser beforehand

And if this happens again check if there is a folder in the directory next to the program

Is there a log file in RhythmiRust_config/

If so post it here please.

Yea, that looks normal possibly try the relog with the browser sign-up on Spotify and then run and sign in again when the program when it asks you to authorize, click yes, else you might end up in the situation you are in now where it connects to Spotify then Spotify denies it
