WebACS not able to connect to local ARE in Chrome - CORS error on insecure context

Steps to reproduce:

1. Start ARE locally
2. open webacs.asterics.eu in Chrome
3. click on "connect to ARE"

Problem: requests to local addresses like localhost/127.0.0.1 are not allowed on insecure context (http) in current Chrome browsers. Firefox seems to be working.
Solution: switch to secure context / https
