I'm going to second this as I've just set this up on a Raspberry Pi CM4 and it's working, except that I don't get a CPU temperature. No fault of the Checkmate team; the driver doesn't provide a label for the CPU temperature, so the function that looks for the temperature input file can't find it. However, I could very easily point Capture at a file that gives the temperature if there was a way to set an override. I guess that technically means I'm asking for an additional feature beyond a config file... but it would be nice.

Hey @hubleyku thanks for the pointing that.

My configuration file proposal wasn’t intended for metric collection it's just for simplifying setup, like defining the server port, secret, log level, and similar settings.

Capture should automatically fetch all available system resources on launch, without any user configuration. Your issue might be a bug specific to Raspberry Pi devices. I’ve created an issue for my RPi 5 could you check if the test command works for you? If it looks similar to your issue and the test command produces the correct output, feel free to give it a 👍.
