The problem
If I try to open the Python console in Civil 3D 2025 by running the PYTHONCONSOLE command or by clicking the Run CPS button in the ribbon, I get an error window:

Then it brings up the shell window showing this:

If I then try to run some Python code within the window, I get a message and Civil 3D freezes indefinitely:

I assume the CadPythonShell plugin needs upgraded to work with .NET framework 8, which AutoCAD/Civil 3D now uses.
