That page is the version submitted to the Chrome Web Store. It is the single source of truth — this file intentionally does not duplicate it, so the two cannot drift apart.
TabCommand collects no data. Your tabs, groups, labels, favorites, history,
and settings are stored only on your own device using Chrome's local extension
storage (chrome.storage.local). Nothing is transmitted to us or to any third
party. There is no analytics, no telemetry, and no tracking.
TabCommand reads tab titles and URLs solely to display, search, and organize them for you, locally.
Page content is read only when you ask for it. TabCommand does not hold permission to read the sites you visit at install time. If you run a page-content search from the Search page, it asks for that permission at that moment, and you can decline — everything else keeps working. When you do grant it, the text of the pages in the scope you chose is read on your device, searched for your query, and discarded; only the short excerpt shown in the results is kept, in memory, until you leave the page. Nothing is stored and nothing is transmitted. You can revoke the permission at any time in Chrome's extension settings.
