Keyboard loses translucency when popping, in iOS8

When popping from a view controller with the keyboard active, with the interactive pop gesture, the keyboard loses it's translucency. The bug does not appear in iOS versions 7.x. However, it does happen in iOS 8 (version tested on is 8.0)

Appears to happen when keyboardAppearance is set to UIKeyboardAppearanceDark. Works fine in all other cases. OS bug?
