Expected Behavior

pip install dbx should install successfully

Current Behavior

ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'imp'

command to reproduce error

pip install dbx on Python 3.12.3

environment

Windows 10 Python version 3.12.3

Can confirm that this issue occurs for python 3.12. Rolled back to 3.11 and it solved the issue for now.

Hi team! Any updates on this? I know we should be migrating to Databricks Assets Bundle but in the meantime, is there any plan to provide support for Python v3.12?
