Any desire for a non-Expo example?

I don't use Expo in my development, and I think a lot of developers feel the same way. I was wondering about a non-Expo example.

The Expo example seems to not work. I get a red screen when running it, and then just a splash screen that hangs. I'm not sure if I'm doing anything wrong because I'm not super familiar with running Expo apps in development mode.

it would be great if you can make a native-cli based example.

also can you share some details about issues you are facing with expo so i can fix them. A screenshot or a error log will be helpful.
