Hey, I'm dervarex. I am a young developer living in Germany. I started programming a few years ago with a simple learn-to-program app. That was the beginning of a great era. After that, I discovered Java through a book called "Learn Java with Minecraft Plugins". It felt like a dream having my own commands in-game, though I didn't use any IDE back then haha. I can't really remember what happened next, but then I started developing PandaClient—without even knowing what Maven or Gradle are, so it obviously was terrible. I remade PandaClient a few times, but after the third complete rewrite I finally gave up, as I learned how to do backend in that time, but not frontend. Now I'm focusing on backend-only or backend-focused things and animation. Speaking of animation, I discovered BeinBian at the end of 2025 and really loved his animations. So I began doing my own, improving and failing all over, and I'm probably still doing it. After discontinuing PandaClient, I wanted to give back to my community (of 2 people, but those two matter). That's why I created Minified — an open-source Minecraft launcher framework that handles the boring stuff, from downloading game files and managing versions to installing mod loaders and launching the game, allowing developers to focus on creating great launchers.
