Unable to use celery-haystack with a index based on multiple models

The index we are using is based on multiple models. So get_model() method is not defined for the index. I am getting an error that get_model method should be implemented. This works correctly with RealTimeSignalProcessor provided by haystack but not with the CelerySignalProcessor provided by celery_haystack.

Is the above check required?
