Idea Description

The idea is to highlight new contributors in the Django Discord server.

Rationale

Not every contributor writes their name in the author, but lots of new people still contribute and I think it could be nice to highlight them.

We could make use of the current MEE6 bot and find a solution that is both useful and practical.

Problem

Highlighting new contributors in Django Discord can let people be more engaged with the Django Discord, and also a way to welcome new people into the community.

I do have a starting point for this project.

Currently, the idea is to fetch merged PRs from django/django, find new contributors, and publish them into the RSS so MEE6 can read it.
The current implementation use Github CLI to retrieve data, generate a static RSS feed hosted on GitHub Pages, and keeps it updated via GitHub Action every hour.
This approach is lightweight and low maintenance, and currently, the webhook isn't needed, but it relies on polling.
I tested it on my private Discord server, and it seems to work properly.

This is a first approach, but I'm also open to suggestions.
