ELARIS Additional Use Grant

This file is used together with Business Source License 1.1.

Additional Use Grant

Notwithstanding the default limitations of the Business Source License 1.1, the Licensor grants permission to use the Licensed Work, including ELARIS Core and ELARIS Pro modules, without payment only for the following purposes:

  • personal use
  • home use
  • lab use
  • testing
  • evaluation
  • internal non-commercial development

Commercial Use Excluded

The Additional Use Grant above does not permit any of the following without a separate written commercial license from the Licensor:

  • paid installation, setup, or commissioning
  • professional installer or systems integrator use
  • reseller or distributor use
  • managed service or hosted service use
  • SaaS or remote commercial operation for third parties
  • white-label use
  • use in commercial customer deployments
  • bundling or embedding ELARIS into a paid product or service
  • redistribution of ELARIS Pro modules or premium functionality as part of a commercial offer

Clarification

If a use case has a commercial purpose, supports a paid service, forms part of customer work, or is connected to revenue generation, it is not covered by the free grant above and requires a commercial license.
