Does PJON works with ATtiny1616?

When i try to compile blank project with PJON included i get message "library PJON claims to run on atmelavr, avr, esp8266, esp32, sam, samd, teensy, tiny, stm32, STM32F1 architecture(s) and may be incompatible with your current board which runs on megaavr architecture(s)"
So ATtiny1616 is megaavr, it is different tiny from what is written about PJON 13.1 at the main page here? Will there ever be a support of this type of ATtiny?
