Able to support RSA4096 signature?

I see signature length is only 256 byte. Does it mean iasimage cannot support RSA4096? If yes, not sure if there's plan to support it?

Currently it supports only 2048-bit RSA key for signing based on the specification (under docs). Changing key size also requires corresponding parser code in firmware to be changed. May I know why 4K RSA key is required?
