Hi @weehong-1! I'm Dosu and I’m helping the intellij-rainbow-brackets team. This is a known limitation with JetBrains Gateway. Rainbow Brackets relies on the Additionally, JetBrains Client doesn't support paid plugin features, which explains why it shows as "unlicensed" in the editor despite your trial being active. Unfortunately, there's no workaround for Gateway remote development at this time due to these platform-level limitations. This has been reported in issue #2408 and issue #2818. This is a known limitation with JetBrains Gateway. Rainbow Brackets relies on the
com.intellij.modules.langplatform module, which is not available in JetBrains Client/Gateway environments. Because of this, bracket colorization won't work even if your license appears valid in the settings.Additionally, JetBrains Client doesn't support paid plugin features, which explains why it shows as "unlicensed" in the editor despite your trial being active.
