New PI Version 1.9.4 generating errors when running AutoIntegrate Script #63

Hi, I have now updated the repository and there is a new V8 JavaScript engine version available, Unfortunately the old SpiderMonkey (SM) version does not work on 1.9.4 because they removed some old SM versions of system scripts. I tought that PI team would let us know when the real 1.9.4 is out so I was a bit lazy with repository update. The changes in the V8 version of AutoIntegrate script are huge, so I expect a few bugs there. Jarmo |

Jarmo,

Many thanks for your rapid response on this.

FYI, PI is not picking this new version (1.8.6) up in the update link yet.

Best regards,

Hi, Yes, it works for me. Maybe you need to run reset to get the updates. Jarmo |

Jarmo,

I’ve updated PI to version 1.9.4, then reset updates as you suggested, then searched for all updates and installed them including yours.

The result: AutoIntegrate works with 1.9.4 (it didn’t before), but the version is only v1.8.1 not v1.8.6. Also, it won’t close in PI, which makes it unusable.

So I’m having to revert to previous version of PI which does work with v1.81.

Hi, That is totally weird. I get version 1.86 as expected. I am on Windows. Also version 1.81 is an old one, the latest version before 1.86 is 1.84. You should not be able to get version 1.81 anywhere. Anyway, moving back to older PI version may be a safe choice right now, until problems are resoled. Jarmo |

Jarmo,

I have uninstalled v1.9.4 of PI, reinstalled 1.9.3 and updated all the scripts from the repository – it has now installed AI v1.85, which works and exits cleanly.

As you say, I will wait for things to settle and try updating to 1.9.4 after a few weeks.

Best regards,

Uh oh!
There was an error while loading. Please reload this page.
I have just downloaded and installed the latest PI update version 1.9.4. When I run AI I get this error message:
run -x=auto "C:/Program Files/PixInsight/src/scripts/AutoIntegrate/AutoIntegrate.js"
Processing script file: C:/Program Files/PixInsight/src/scripts/AutoIntegrate/AutoIntegrate.js
*** Error: C:/Program Files/PixInsight/src/scripts/AutoIntegrate/AutoIntegrateEngine.js, line 100: File not found in include directive: ../AdP/AnnotateImage.js
This also happens if I remove the AI update repository and then add it back and reinstall the update.
What is the solution to this?
