Hi, when will the second version be released? Is the current main branch usable?

Yes, the design files currently in the main branch are usable for v2. I have built a few working prototypes with the latest updated PCB files, schematic/layout/gerbers, 3D printed parts, and other hardware from the BOM.
Pieces missing from full v2 release:

• Noise floor validation. I have been blocked for the past few weeks on taking noise floor measurements. Hopefully I will get a chance to do that this week.
• Updated calibration data. Still need to validate v2 frequency response and EQ.
• Updated construction guide for v2. It should be pretty self-explanatory from the CAD. The only thing missing is you probably want to reinforce the joint between the capsule and the header pins with UV-cure glue, otherwise there is a very high risk of ripping the pads off the back of the capsule
• I may make some very small tweaks to the CAD

WAIT! DON'T ORDER PCBs YET! Sorry, I forgot to mention that standard thickness PCBs will not work for the v2 design. The PCB must be <1.4mm thick to attach properly to the mini XLR connector. The next standard thickness from vendors like JLCPCB is 1.2mm.

I will add some fab notes directly in the layout to call out the thickness requirement.

Thanks for the heads-up, and thanks for the project as well! In that case, I'll try building version 1 (v1) first.
