Not able to remove a section from dashboard

After entering the edit view mode even if the section ha set editable: true it's not possible to remove it from the dashboard. The close button dosn't show up neither:

Should be visible the remove button as well as teh section should be removed from the dashboard.

there was issue that the configuration was saved in the local storage and update in the code didn''t have any effect
