Yes, I'm still maintaining this to keep compiling on the latest nighly releases. Right now there is the issue that target JSON files were made unstable, which requires some adjustments to the blog. I'll fix this in the next few days.

I also have plans for a third edition of this blog with a more modern foundation (e.g. support for UEFI and pixel-based framebuffers). But this is a larger project that won't be ready anytime soon.
