While using with PHP responses are not returned to be useful

I installed running composer require from packagist
Below is my code snippet :
require '../vendor/autoload.php';
$ssdb = new SSDB\Client('127.0.0.1', 8888);
echo $ssdb->qsize("MYQUEUE_12"). "\n";
echo $ssdb->get("TOTALSENT"). "\n";

and I am getting the response like

qsize ok 0
get ok "10"

and I'm expecting like

0
10

If I'm not using it in correct way then let me know, or if there is a bug please fix that

$ssdb = new SimpleSSDB('127.0.0.1', 8888);
$resp = $ssdb->set('key', '123');
$resp = $ssdb->get('key');
echo $resp; // output: 123
