Second GitBook tool run_my_tests rides the command bus: optional sections subset, navigate home first when needed, waitForAppCommand + dispatch per test with a 60s cap, allSettled partial-failure semantics, and the same snapshot shape the read tool returns plus ran/failed lists. Every homepage section ends with one fixed slot; frontend/data/banners/ <section>.js (gitignored — deploy-time data, placing a file IS the decision to show it) decides what renders. Data contract in utils/banners.js: inline four-language copy, url+utm or internal to target, requireSettled / transition / sweep switches, BannerClick_<section> analytics. The fetch script was gitignored while the data test hard-required its output, so outside contributors were blocked by a tool they couldn't see. The script is now committed (pnpm fetch-favicons) and the data test auto-downloads missing icons on local runs; CI stays offline and keeps enforcing that PNGs are committed. Move the resolver list into api/data/dns-resolvers.js as structured per-country data so adding a resolver becomes a one-object PR, gated by a new data-integrity test. The API returns one flat annotated list and the UI grows badge-style region filter chips (flags + localized names via Intl.DisplayNames) above the result table. CONTRIBUTING now reflects the real workflow (pnpm-only setup, dev-in dev-out, pnpm check) and points contributors at the AGENTS.md files and the online Developer Guide. All four gain a short Contributing section pointing at the good-first-issue label and CONTRIBUTING.md, which now also documents community-maintained README translations (English stays canonical) as a starter area distinct from UI translations. A whole-grid ipinfo:refresh left fetchStatus set from the previous pass, so the first card to settle re-emitted ipinfo:finished and resolved the command early with a mix of fresh and stale cards.
