⛔ DO NOT MERGE until KhronosGroup/OpenXR-Docs#199 lands — part of DisplayXR/displayxr-runtime#734

  • All 13 DisplayXR-authored extensions renamed via scripts/dxr_rename.py (exact-symbol rules; upstream XR_EXT_*/XR_KHR_* untouched — verified by before/after inventory diff).
  • Struct-type numeric block 1000999xxx → 1004999xxx (no hardcoded copies existed in C#; native uses the header values).
  • No vendored XR_EXT_*.h header copies in this repo (extensions declared in native~/displayxr_extensions.h, rewritten in place) and no FetchContent/workflow pins of displayxr-{common,mcp,runtime,extensions} — nothing to repin.
  • XR_EXT_display_rendering_mode in CHANGELOG.md is historical prose for a retired name, intentionally untouched.

⚠️ Prebuilt binaries are stale until re-released: the signed Runtime/Plugins/Windows/x64/displayxr_unity.dll and Runtime/Plugins/macOS/displayxr_unity.bundle checked into the package are built from the old native source and still advertise XR_EXT_*. After merge, run /dxr-release unity to rebuild + re-sign from the renamed source — a repo-only rename ships stale binaries. (The Khronos RuntimeLoaders~/macos/openxr_loader.dylib is upstream and unaffected.)

…splayxr-runtime#734)

Native plugin sources (displayxr_extensions.h + standalone/provider paths), C# doc references, and docs rewritten by scripts/dxr_rename.py; no vendored headers and no DisplayXR-repo pins in this repo.
