π¨ Severity: HIGH
π‘ Vulnerability: The
demo_loginanddemo_portal_loginPOST endpoints inapps/auth_app/views.pywere annotated with@csrf_exempt, bypassing Django's built-in Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) protection.π― Impact: This exposes the application to a Login CSRF vulnerability, allowing an attacker to force a victim's browser to authenticate as a demo user.
π§ Fix: Removed the
@csrf_exemptdecorator from the two endpoints and the unused import. Django's default CSRF middleware will now protect these routes, and the existing{% csrf_token %}in the forms will be validated.β Verification: Ran the authentication test suite, including
tests/test_roles_invites.pyandtests/test_auth_views.py, to verify that login functionality is maintained.PR created automatically by Jules for task 14659721983192542492 started by @pboachie
