We are MIT's main undergraduate-led satellite hub. We aim to bridge the institute's undergraduate body with satellite systems, software, and hardware engineering experience with an emphasis on humanitarian impact. All our projects are started from scratch, so our members get experience in all the steps of a mission's life cycle.
- Flight Software: embedded C/C++ for onboard computers and payload control
- RF & Communications: LoRa and custom radio links for telemetry and command
- Hardware: PCB design, power systems, and structural integration
- Ground Station: tracking, uplink/downlink, and mission operations tools
To give MIT students hands-on experience with the full satellite development lifecycle: from requirements and design through integration, test, and launch.
