The Music Box is composed of:

• one Raspberry Pi 3 Model B;
• one microSD card (16 GB min) to store the Minimal image based on Debian Stretch;
• one RFID reader with the microchip RS522 (the Velleman VMA405 module for instance);
• some RFID tags to play with;
• eight Female/Female Jumper Wires to connect RFID reader to the Raspberry Pi GPIOs;
• a pair of USB speakers;
• a micro USB power supply (5V, 2A min).

For the development process, you need extra hardware:

• one usb keyboard;
• one LCD display with HDMI cable.

enclosure

Different techniques (3D printing, laser cutting, etc.) or material (cardboard, PMMA, PLA) can be used to make an enclosure to protect the electronic hardware.
