  • Add command to stop any user sound currently playing.
  • Expand number of cannon ready/reloaded sounds to 5, to be selected at random each time the cannon is ready/completes reloading.

  • Add sound-bank functionality - two banks of 20 sounds that can be manipulated like a standard playlist, eg play next, play previous, play random. Will require TCB/OP Config or INI Creator version 0.93.40 or later.
  • Random selection of sound groups is now truly random (previous implementation was not truly random).
  • Add firmware ability to recognize V3 hardware.

  • Firwmare changes to support light outputs and recoil servo output now available in hardware Version 3 of the sound card board.
  • Firmware changes to support INI settings files for RC mode, as generated by the INI Creator Utility released by the Open Panzer project.

  • Fixed bug that prevented user from stopping an already playing user sound, the same bug also permitted a user sound to be started multiple times simultaneously which would not be desired.
  • Added an alternate (and optional) idle sound to be played when vehicle is damaged, in the manner of Tamiya (enidle_d.wav)
  • Added alternate (and optional) "manual" turret rotation sounds to be played when the vehicle engine is off (turret_m.wav is the repeating portion, optional start and stop sounds are tr_strtm.wav and tr_stopm.wav)
  • Added a second light sound to be played automatically when Light 2 (L2 output) is turned on or off via the TCB (see the Sounds tab of OP Config to enable this option).
  • Increased the number of user sounds from 6 to 12.
  • Changed RC signal handling to allow more flexibility, and made a start on using an INI file to configure settings when used without a TCB in RC mode (not completed).

  • Firmware changes to accommodate the new MAX9768 10 watt amplifier on the second hardware version of the sound card. Firmware can now detect the hardware version automatically.
  • Various adjustments to help avoid clicking/popping/hissing sounds at startup and when sounds are not playing.
