Hey man, i was just trying to run cp2077. is this tool like an unlcoker for steam? like it just allows games to be isntalled that arent owned? if so, how do it do it exactly. BTW im on a m5 pro 16 inch running macos 27

Yes it's steamtools for mac. To use it you need to get a manifest file. Either search something like lua manifests or use Hubcap. Once you download one, import it to the app. Restart Steam and it should be in your library.

I did, but it’s not letting me download the game. Although, dlc for hitman woa works.

I got the manifest file from hubcap and imported it and it shows up but it doesn't let me download and gives a no internet connection error. blender downloads just fine so is there a step i missed or is this an issue?

Also, the steam downgraded doesn’t work. So I’ve only been able to test it in the latest version

Latest version is supported, ignore the warning. I'll address downgrading in the near future, though.

So effictively, I could just get the zip from hubcap and send it through to macsteam, add the game, restart steam and I should be able to install the game?

I’ll try it thank you. I think the issue was the luatools only provided the lua file.

am i doing this wrong? i've got no experience with these steam related tools. i downloaded the zip from hubcapdb
im on the latest non beta steam on macos 27

so, you need to import the zip, add as app, which youve done already. then, you want to restart your steam, and it should appear there. just to ocnfirm, you didnt unzip the file right? and youve also pressed the install button. dont bother downgrading when installing.

nope, haven't unzipped, and i've installed without downgrading

every time i open steam back up after installing it downloads a ~3mb update, does yours also do that?
