New Blocks
Ship cores (SpecCores) are a conversion of the BattlePoints system into a block. It works the same way, but attributes of ships are set in-game by the core instead of just adding up points. This allows for a lot of things.
The core block is effectively invulnerable. When it is reduced below functional, its resistance is set to 99.9%, all of the power generation blocks on your grid are forced off, and a 30-second timer starts, after which the power block repairs itself and turns back on.
