Index cards currently load the full ~1600px originals. Add srcset/sizes — via @11ty/eleventy-img for repo-hosted media, and a strategy for the R2 stack (pre-generated sizes at sync time, or Cloudflare Image Resizing). Watch that resized images don't break the thumb→entry view-transition pairing.
