Suggestions and Feature Requests

Hello, this is a really cool project. While using it, I have some questions and suggestions regarding BD2ModPreview:

1.Would it be possible to add features similar to the Multi-Skin Selection and Multi-Track Animation functions on https://ig.playmeow.com/?lang=en-us? These features would be very useful when previewing certain dating mods and cutscene mods.
2.If a mod folder contains a textures folder, could the previewer automatically set the first image inside that folder as the background when previewing the mod?
3.I noticed that although the project is named ModPreview, the characters on the right side currently only allow previewing official animations. Would it be possible to allow switching between official animations and the mod animations that are currently selected as "in use"?
4.The quick switching menu in the bottom-right corner is very useful, but after opening it, it is easy to accidentally close it with even a small movement. Could it be changed so that opening and closing are controlled by a click the button instead of automatically closing when clicking elsewhere?

Those are some good features. I’ll try to add them after I finish some work I’m doing on the Mod Manager.

#2 I could add something like a selector with all the images inside the textures folder, so we could select which one to use as the background.

#3 I added it so users can compare the mod with the in-game animation. Maybe I could improve it by adding a side-by-side comparison and also add a new tab with all the mods so we can easily preview tons of them?

#4 Do you mean the built-in controls of the Spine viewer?

Did I understand everything correctly, or do you have any other suggestions?

Yes, thank you for the reply! Your understanding is very accurate.

For #1, the Multi-Skin and Multi-Track features are mainly useful for certain cutscene and dating animations. For example, in Mamonir – Miracle Marine, the Body, Head, and Ponytail are separated into different animations. Another example is dating mods for characters like Angelica and Eclipse, which often require layering animations such as idle and mix together.

For #3, I think the idea of listing all mods could be useful. However, for authors who make mods with many different branches/variations (such as sloth), I'm not sure whether listing every mod at once might make the UI too complicated or have some impact on performance. Perhaps it could be worth considering how to organize them without making the interface too crowded.

For #4, I haven't actually used the original Spine viewer very much, but I guess I was referring to the built-in controls. If those controls can't be modified, please ignore this suggestion.
If changing the behavior of the buttons in the bottom-right corner isn't possible, perhaps the animation selection in the left-side tab could be improved instead? The current interaction isn't particularly convenient for dating mods that contain a large number of animations.
