Rulings that have been re-litigated more than once — where a routine delivers, that the top-bar search is per-page while Cmd+K is global, what a brand-new tenant must have on first sign-in — lived only in conversation, so each new contributor rediscovered them by getting them wrong. AGENTS.md now points at the record, and a decision there outranks an inference from the existing code.

Several rulings have had to be repeated because they live in conversation rather than in the repo, so every new contributor rediscovers them by getting them wrong first. Two examples from today: that a routine delivers into a workbench the person selects rather than auto-creating one named after itself, and that the top-bar search filters the current page while
Cmd+Kis the global palette — they are separate things.docs/DECISIONS.mdrecords those, plus the ones behind recent work: Jimmy is an agent rather than a template, own-messages align right per viewer, a brand-new tenant is complete on first sign-in, there is one setup path with no demo mode, workflows are code in the hub's git-backed store, and less is more.A decision there outranks an inference drawn from existing code — when the two disagree, the code is what is wrong. AGENTS.md links it from a new section and from the docs map, so it is in front of anyone starting work in those areas.
