Built daily storage, demurrage, and detention cost calculations and an OCR + regex + AI-based PDF invoice validation pipeline to detect potential overcharges and reduce port and carrier costs.
• Engineered a paid-media and stock-monitoring platform for marketing teams across 20+ European countries, linking product availability with active advertising campaigns to automatically alert users when advertised SKUs become out of stock. Built plan vs. actual vs. budget dashboards and ad-spend management workflows to improve campaign control and reduce wasted media spend.
• Led the end-to-end software implementation of the Demurrage & Detention and OneView Media Ad platforms, developing most of the stack independently across PostgreSQL databases, Python/FastAPI backends, AI/LLM components (Claude, ChatGPT, LangChain, LangGraph, Pydantic), data processing (NumPy, Pandas), document processing (PDFPlumber, OCR), authentication (JWT), and React/TypeScript frontends. Designed and deployed the cloud infrastructure using Docker and AWS services including ECS, Fargate, ECR, Lambda, S3, Bedrock, and ALB, with GitLab-based CI/CD pipelines. Project requirements and domain expertise were provided by business managers and relevant teams, while software architecture, implementation, deployment, support, and continuous improvements were primarily owned independently, with collaboration with senior engineers and technical leadership of two junior developers.

I worked in the campaign software unit within the CRM software of TEB bank for almost 1 year. Turkish Economy Bank is one of the top 10 largest and oldest banks in Turkey, headquartered in Istanbul.

During this period, I worked on tasks such as developing in-bank software with Java language and evam tool (in-bank software), updating existing codes, and designing applications for the needs of business units.

The Bilkent University is one of the top 5 research-based universities in Turkey, and it is located in Ankara. The THE/QS rankings are 500 in the world in 2018 to 2023.
