NppExec and TCEdit.exe

Just sharing that the NppExec plugin is now being used with the TCEdit.exe from Take Command Console (JPSoft.com)

I use the NppExec plugin the same way I used it in NotePad++,
to run TCC .btm files from the editor.

There have been issues in getting it to work properly with TCEdit.exe,
but Rex Conn has been fixing them as we go along.

Yes, NppExec's CommandExecuter intentionally has the following code: m_ExecuteThreadDoneEvent.Wait(INFINITE); to guarantee that the BackgroundExecuteThreadFunc always finishes properly. Otherwise the CommandExecuter hangs which is noticeable to user and it indicates that something went wrong.
The actual question is: what made TCEdit.exe to not exit properly?
And also, if TCEdit.exe did not exit properly, NppExec was expected to show its "NppExec - WARNING - Console process is still running" dialog. Did that happen?
