Did you really put your PR branch on Chef supermarket ? I'm not sure spillting this project was the best idea here :-/

Did @dcm-ops abandoned this cookbook or he let it die ? If this repo is not moving anymore maybe we can ask one of the Chef's maintainers community (@redguide or @chef-brigade) to remedy the problem, take over the project and to mediate with the maintainer.

What do you think about that ?

@lusis & @danryan : Would you agree to join @redguide organization and delegate your cookbook on it (we did a great merging job on nodejs in the past)?
This would allow the code to move faster & This would also ensure stability in the governance of the cookbook. In this case we'll need to ask @lmunro to share and release his ownership over supermarket namespace.

Hi @BarthV, we have since last year for a response from the original maintainers. As far as we can tell, it's died. We are happy to maintain the cookbook and accept PRs and publish new versions, so I think we'd rather our version become the official one, and we're happy to maintain it as such.
