Cant build from source on mac

When trying to use "cargo run" from source on mac i always get following error:
Winit requires control over principal class. You must create event loop before other parts of your applicaiton.

I will try to troubleshoot and add more info later, this is issue with tray-icon from tauri, not sure exactly what i need to do to enable this on mac

Thanks for the reply, well while this is same as #11, i would like to keep this open if possible.

1. because more people will be aware of this
2. even pre built binary does not work on macbook

When i try to runit i just get generic error that dmg is damaged and that u should unmount it.

What i saw also,if i add tray icon after app creation or i disable it then it works.

Since mac is my work provided machine i cant really commit to troubleshoot this there,but i will try to see other options.

Now it doesn't even build. Same on linux. I suggest to setup a Github action for each platform to avoid this kind of regression.

The crash is related to the tray icon created before the iced application. I think I might have a solution to test.

Well they are other issues laying behind this crash, I really doubt this project ever ran on a Mac, claiming its cross plateform is a bit of a stretch for now.
There is an issue related to the named socket created in ipc_listener() , you can only start the application once because listener is never dropped so the underlying socket is never released. That's quite annoying as you need to reboot your computer (or change the value of APPNAME) to be able to launch again the program otherwise it panics..
Also the key listener seems to not work so its impossible to take a screenshot.

@IohannRabeson MacOS would require special attention as there are a lot of runtime issues (as you mentioned) which can't be detected or fixed just by compiling the binary.

@decipher3114 I might contribute more but I would like to use rustfmt to format new code easilly. That creates a lot of noise since its never been used before so I should do it in a separate MR. Are you open to use rustfmt?
