Fixed the Ruff 0.16 lint and formatting failures in commit 12e58e2. Product-owned files were updated; upstream strix/ remains byte-for-byte unchanged under the controlled-derivative gate. Focused per-file ignores cover inherited upstream directives and string concatenation, and Markdown examples remain byte-preserved. Local Ruff check/format, 1,374 tests (1 skipped), mypy (152 files), and scripts/verify-controlled-derivative.sh pass. Awaiting fresh CI and built-image smoke on the exact commit. |

Fresh CI on 12e58e2 is green: verify, locked-dependency audit, sandbox image build/smoke, relay-grant isolation, guarded replay egress, and deny-by-default network probes all passed. This resolves the prior failed verify job. |

A newer version of ruff exists, but since this PR has been edited by someone other than Dependabot I haven't updated it. You'll get a PR for the updated version as normal once this PR is merged. |
