Summary
Reverts only #286 (the Canvas rail-switch crossfade+slide) at the user's request — it wasn't what "scrolling still snappy" meant to them. #287 (collection portrait card size) stays: the user confirmed the portrait-size mismatch is real and wants that fix kept.
