Nginx Docker Image for Simple Reverse Proxy

Intend to be used as very simple reverse proxy for other apps (e.g. gunicorn, unicorn, etc.)

The following shows an example use case with docker-compose:

HSTS

If you wish to enable the HSTS header, you need to set the complete string as an environment variable, e.g.

services:
  nginx:
    image: quay.io/intellihr/nginx-proxy:1.13
    ports:
      - "80:80"
    environment:
      - PORT=80
      - APP_SERVER=http://app:5000
      - HSTS='add_header Strict-Transport-Security "max-age=300; includeSubdomains";'

    restart: always

Ideally all production services should be using HTTPS only
