Local Development

Install Ruby dependencies:

bundle install

Install Node dependencies for responsive image generation:

npm ci

Generate responsive WebP images after adding or changing files under assets/img:

npm run images

Preview the site locally:

bundle exec jekyll serve

Daily text/style edits usually only need bundle exec jekyll serve. Run npm run images again when new images are added, existing images are replaced, or image references change.
