A line of work moving from heat, vortices and turbulence to blood flow, vascular signalling, Bio-CFD and the problem of making scientific knowledge usable.

Khalid Saqr's public record is best read as a single line of inquiry rather than as a list of unrelated fields. The early studies dealt with mechanical and thermal systems: air-conditioning control, thermoelectric recovery, pipe heat transfer, swirl, confined vortices and transition. The later work entered combustion, detonation, turbulence, entropy, exergy, renewable-energy machines, urban flows, offshore structures and computational benchmarks.
The decisive turn came when this modelling discipline was brought to the human circulation. Blood flow in large arteries and cerebral vessels became the difficult case: a living system where viscosity, pulsatility, wall motion, bifurcation, turbulence and biological response could not be separated cleanly. That turn led into neurovascular modelling, Bio-CFD, mechanobiology and the question of how a flow field becomes a biological signal.
The present direction follows from the same habit of thought. Scientific knowledge itself is treated as another complex system: papers, citations, code, data, simulations, expert judgement and intellectual property are valuable only when they can be inspected, connected and reused.
The GitHub Pages site is the canonical public biography and machine-readable record:
The page is written for both general readers and specialists. General readers can follow the story of a research programme moving from engineering systems to blood flow and knowledge systems. Specialists can follow the numbered references to the underlying studies.
