I am an indie developer and a hands-on maker. Everything I know comes from rolling up my sleeves and building the tools I actually need to run my day-to-day life. I prefer practical, local-first utility over trendy tech stacks, focusing my energy on solving interesting software puzzles, keeping my data private, and making my physical surroundings work for me.
π My Build Philosophy: I build tools that I live in every single day, so look, feel, and seamless interface design matter immensely to me. If an application is clunky, frustrating, or visual noise, it stays on the workbench. My goal is simple: eliminate friction, automate the repetitive stuff, and ensure every piece of software is satisfying to use.
I write a lot of Python, Kotlin, and React, usually focused on offline utility, tight design loops, and hardware integration. Hereβs whatβs active on my workbench right now:
- π Trade Hunter: A local Python application for monitoring prediction markets, featuring anomaly detection and multi-tier ticker support.
- ποΈ pmwatch: An open-source anomaly detector for Kalshi prediction markets that flags unusual trading patterns preceding public announcements.
- π¦ holistic: An npm package for checkpoint-based repository memory systems, focusing on durable context without conversational bloat.
- π NewsThread: A local-first news utility that uses on-device semantic embeddings for offline tracking and local matching.
- π filetrx & pdf2epub: Specialized, script-free utilities built for moving and converting data locally without external tracking.
- π‘ Home Assistant & π¨οΈ Additive Manufacturing: My physical stack, which includes customized dashboards, dense Zigbee networks, and finely-tuned PETG hardware prints.

When I'm not working on one of these side projects, I'm probably:
- π± Spending a sunny afternoon tackling projects out in the yard.
- π In the middle of atmospheric horror fiction.
- π Watching solar flare forecasts hoping to catch the aurora borealis.
Built locally. Designed intentionally. Run daily. π οΈ
