Show an animated accent-coloured bar under the navbar while a tab is loading. Swap the reload button for a stop icon during loads so users can cancel. Add TAB_STOP IPC channel backed by webContents.stop(). Suppress ERR_ABORTED (-3) from loadURL — it fires on page redirects and is not a real failure, just Electron signalling the original URL was replaced by the redirect target.
