My work focuses on MySQL/InnoDB internals, cloud database storage, online DDL, recovery, HTAP, metadata management, and database performance analysis and optimization.

I enjoy tracing correctness and performance problems through the database stack, turning the findings into production-ready features, and contributing reusable improvements upstream.
